Katie Noonan – One of Australia’s most acclaimed vocalists, Katie’s award-winning voice moves effortlessly across jazz, classical, folk, and pop, bringing depth and beauty to every note.
Experience the powerful, resonant chanting of the Sera Je Monastery monks, each evening; harmonic tones with centuries-old Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Their mesmerizing chants create a sacred soundscape that brings peace, focus, and a profound sense of connection.
Tenzin Choegyal – A master of traditional Tibetan song, Tenzin blends his rich cultural heritage with contemporary sounds to create powerful, meditative performances that connect across cultures.
Eliza Hull - Eliza Hull is an award-winning Australian musician, writer, and disability advocate living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth syndrome. Her music has been featured on shows like Teen Wolf and The Heights, and she has performed at the Sydney Opera House and London’s Natural History Museum. Through her writing and public speaking, Eliza champions disability inclusion and representation, making her a powerful voice for change in the arts and beyond.
The Dawn Light – Known for their immersive soundscapes and ambient live instrumentation, The Dawn Light offers a sonic experience that is both reflective and inspiring.
Bart Stenhouse – A virtuoso guitarist and composer, Bart merges jazz, flamenco, Indian classical and world music into an electrifying and deeply expressive style.
Josh Lovegrove - Josh Lovegrove is a soulful singer, songwriter, and live looping artist based in Brisbane, Australia. With over a decade of experience, he has captivated audiences across Australia and internationally. Known for his ability to create a profound sense of community through his music, Josh's performances blend groove, harmony, and heartfelt storytelling, leaving audiences feeling connected and uplifted.
Featured Teachers and Facilitators:
The 2025 program includes teachings, workshops, and practices guided by Corey Jackson, Rosie Stave, and Rob and Katie Foster. Offerings include meditation, yoga, breathwork, self-inquiry, and embodied mindfulness practices.
Culture, Art & Movement:
The festival also features traditional Tibetan music and dance workshops led by Topyal and Tsering, as well as interactive art spaces, exhibitions, creative workshops, and a dedicated Kids Zone for mindful family activities. Guests can enjoy vegetarian world cuisine, fresh chai, and a handpicked selection of ethical market stalls.

GESHE TSULTRIM
Geshe Tsultrim is the resident head Teacher at Chenrezig Institute and is immensely popular for the warm and approachable way in which he presents the Dharma. He will be offering various talks during the Big Love Festival, together with a translator. Born in Tibet in 1969, he became a monk aged 14 and was admitted to Sera Je monastery, where 22 years later he was awarded his Geshe degree (the equivalent of a doctorate in Buddhist studies).

SERA JE MONKS (INDIA)
A group of monks are travelling to the Big Love Festival all the way from Sera Je Monastery, India, to assist with preparations and also to share their chanting of mantras/prayers for all sentient beings on dusk in the Garden of Enlightenment every day of the festival. They will also be creating sand mandalas in the Wellbeing Centre to meditate on, invoke and make offerings to spread blessings. The Sera Je monastery’s unique tradition and its philosophical teaching curriculum attracts hundreds of students each year, and is recognised as one of the largest Buddhist monastic Institutes in the world.

KATIE NOONAN
Katie Noonan is a five-time ARIA Award-winning Australian singer-songwriter celebrated for her genre-defying versatility across pop, jazz, classical, folk, and electronic music.
Rising to prominence as the angel-voiced frontwoman of the indie-rock band George and later as the founder of the jazz trio Elixir, she has released over 20 studio albums and collaborated with numerous acclaimed artists and orchestras.
With her luminous vocals and fearless artistic vision, Katie delivers performances that blend emotional intimacy and musical sophistication, captivating audiences from intimate venues to major concert halls.

TENZIN CHOEGYAL
Tenzin Choegyal is one of the world’s finest musicians in the Tibetan tradition. As a son of Tibetan nomads, he feels a particular connection to the music of the high Himalayan plateau. In a career spanning 20+ years Tenzin has performed at festivals across Australia and curated numerous events and concerts. An outstanding composer/ performer with a great depth of musical knowledge, intuition and inventiveness, Tenzin continues to bring new sounds of Tibet while strongly holding the essence of ancient Tibetan wisdom. He attributes his art form to the early karmic imprints of hearing his mother and father as a toddler.

ELIZA HULL
Having established herself as one of Australia’s most important voices and striking songwriters of recent years, musical artist Eliza Hull has proven the longevity of her art, and continued evolution. New single ‘Running Underwater’ sees Hull work with ARIA Award-winning producer Pip Norman (Baker Boy, Missy Higgins) The track was first performed by Hull during a powerful appearance on ABC’s Q+A on national TV. It’s the first song Hull has written about living with condition ‘Charcot Marie Tooth’.
In recent years, Hull has emerged as an accessibility advocate within the industry, her determinism and approach to educating and spurring on change in structure and perspective has been incredibly influential, she consults with organisations such as The ARIAS and APRA and has spoken at events including SXSW, Bigsound, Changes, Human Rights Convention and at Parliament House. She was also the creator of Isolaid’s ‘Accessible All Areas’ a live stream featuring Deaf and Disabled artistswhich garnered over 50k streams.

THE DAWN LIGHT
The Dawn Light is a mystic-poetry soul ensemble from the Sunshine Coast, led by vocalist Angela Newcomb and bassist OJ Newcomb, whose lyrical storytelling draws on the works of mystic poets like Hafiz and Francis Brabazon.
Their sound blends angelic vocals with lush grooves and genre-spanning influences—from nu-soul, jazz, Latin, and folk—creating performances that are mesmerizing, soulful, and uplifting.
Often joined by a collective of talented instrumentalists, their live shows take audiences on a transcendent journey through rich harmonies, shifting textures, and deep spiritual connection.

COREY JACKSON
In the modern popularisation of mindfulness and meditation, much of the ancient wisdom and contemplative understanding has been largely ignored. During Corey Jackson’s insightful presentation, you’ll discover what we can learn if we incorporate the theories and discoveries of ancient contemplatives in modern scientific research. Learn how ancient Buddhist wisdom can be at the cutting-edge of twenty-first century research. Corey is one of Australia’s lead trainers in Cultivating Emotional Balance and is currently progressing his PHD research into the relationship between emotions and meditation.

CHRIS LANE
Chris Lane with his captivating melody on slide guitar, harmonica & woodwinds is known for his amazing melodies with artists such as Oka, Xavier Rudd & Kevin James. His flute sings the sublime melody of connection and solace. Recently Chris has branched out into his solo project performing his own original music and backing some amazing yoga collaborations. NICOLI (NICKI) EIRAS
Nicki teaches yoga every Friday from the Wellbeing Centre at Chenrezig Institute, and during the Big Love Festival she’ll be guiding a Yoga for Interconnectedness session in the Garden of Enlightenment.
Nicki studied yoga with the Institute of Teaching and Research in Yoga in São Paulo, Brazil and is also certified by the Kaivalyadhama Institute (Lonavla, India). Nicki’s wish in offering yoga is the arising of the realisation of our true presence and interconnectedness with all beings.

TOPGYAL GONTSE & TSERING DOLKER
For many years Topgyal and Tsering traveled internationally teaching and performing traditional Tibetan songs and dances as well as contemporary Khaita, showcasing public presentations of a living Tibetan culture until they arrived in Australia. Under the direction of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, they have been appointed the main Khaita teachers for the Oceania region, and as such they are joint heads of the Shang Shung Institute Australia department for Tibetan Performing Arts.

AYESHA BLANCO
Ayesha Blanco is a proud Yaidhaigana, Djabuganydji and Meriam Mer woman, living and practicing on Kabbi Kabbi/Gubbi Gubbi Country. A respected Indigenous leader in the field of Movement-Based Therapy, Ayesha weaves together ancient wisdom with embodied practices to support deep healing and reconnection to spirit.
As a certified Zenthai Shiatsu Therapist and teacher of Zenthai Flow Yoga, Ayesha brings a unique offering rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine’s Five Elemental Theory. Her sessions invite participants into sacred movement, intuitive alignment, and embodied presence—supporting physical, emotional, and energetic balance.
Ayesha’s practice is grounded in her cultural lineage and love for Country. She creates a nurturing and intentional space where individuals are invited to reawaken ancestral memory, honour the cycles of nature, and explore self-healing through breath, movement and touch.

KATE + ROB FOSTER
Kate and Rob Foster are experienced facilitators based on the Sunshine Coast who co-create and lead transformative workshops and retreats rooted in family constellation work, meditation, mindfulness, and compassionate inquiry.
Well-known as men’s and women’s retreat facilitators at Chenrezig, they bring depth and care to their offerings, holding space for meaningful inner and relational growth. Their sessions blend guided meditation, systemic healing practices, and sharing circles, inviting participants to explore personal and collective transformation in a safe and supportive environment.

ROSIE STAVE
Rosie Stave, has been facilitating individuals and groups in The Work of Byron Katie since 1996, when she helped to set up Byron Katie’s first ‘Center for The Work’ in Barstow, CA. She returned to Australia in 1998 and has been offering retreats, workshops and individual sessions in this method of inquiry ever since.
What sets The Work apart from any other methods that have been around for centuries is the way it cuts through the stories of the mind and reveals the truth. It’s not about changing the mind but, in the process of understanding, the mind lets go. Revelations and insights that used to take lifetimes to be seen can be discovered consistently and on purpose through this inquiry. Its simplicity makes it a tool available to all.
During this 90 minute session Rosie will offer you an introduction to this work and you’ll get to experience the power of this inquiry for yourself. Title could be ‘Exploring Inquiry Using The Work of Byron Katie’

LYNDON DAVIS
Lyndon Davis is a Kabi Kabi (Gubbi Gubbi) artist, cultural leader, and founder of the Gubbi Gubbi Dance troupe, based on the Sunshine Coast. His work blends traditional song, dance, language, and visual art to share stories of Country and culture. Through his Welcome to Country, Lyndon invites deep connection, respect, and reflection on the unceded lands of his ancestors.

BART STENHOUSE
BART STENHOUSE (Guitars) is an accomplished Australian guitarist and composer, well versed in Indian Classical and Flamenco styles. He creates stunning sound worlds that blend the rhythms, harmonies and sonic identities of different cultures into a unique and engaging musical fusion. He is a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium and has gone on to study with the best musical masters all over the world, including North Indian Classical Maestro Pandit Debashish Bhattacharya (who is a Indian slide guitar specialist), and has also studied flamenco guitar in Spain and North America.
Bart has the muscle to settle any score. Musically speaking, that is. Packing a powerful ability to balance raw edge with feel good grooves, Bart’s music brilliantly blends fiery flamenco with cool jazz and rollicking Indian rhythms to create a sound that leaves the listener energised and ready for more.
Bart started on a musical journey from an early age. However, it wasn’t until recently that he found his true calling – world fusion music. Inspired by his travels across North America, India and Spain, Bart’s music explores the signature harmonies, rhythms and instrumental identities of different world music cultures.
Wielding his weapons of choice, electric and flamenco guitar and electric mandolin, Bart teams up with original artists across the globe to explore and craft soundscapes not heard before.An experienced producer, Bart records and releases his compositions under his own label, Stenhouse Records and in 2014 brought to the world his debut album ‘Blue Benares’.
Hailed as ‘one of the best up and coming jazz fusion artists’ by Indian slide guitar maestro and guru Pandit Debashish Bhattacharya at the 2016 India International Guitar Festival, the young Australian composer is fast building a reputation as an original, collaborative and innovative artist.

Kush’s musical journey began at the tender age of three, accompanying local religious functions on the tabla. Introduced to the instrument by his uncle, who recognised his natural affinity and passion early on, Kush has since dedicated himself to mastering the art of Indian Classical Music.
In 2009, he had the extraordinary privilege of beginning his training under the legendary Ustad Zakir Hussain, an experience that has profoundly shaped his musical identity. Kush is currently a student of the Punjab Gharana, learning in the lineage of senior disciples of Ustad Alla Rakha Khan Saheb. Deeply devoted to his gurus and the classical tradition, he continually strives to honour their teachings through his practice and performance.Since 2011, Kush has been performing in concerts across Australia and internationally, spanning a wide array of musical genres. Known for his versatility, he has collaborated with artists in Indian Classical, world fusion, jazz, and Bollywood music.
Whether performing as a soloist or accompanist, his playing is marked by a strong, clear, and deeply musical tone that reflects the richness of his lineage and training. Kush remains committed to sharing the beauty of the tabla with diverse audiences and is widely respected for his dedication to the art and the authenticity he brings to every performance.

Parth Raval is a passionate composer, performer, and technologist whose musical journey is defined by creativity, curiosity, and a deep love for sound. A keyboardist at heart, Parth brings a unique energy to the stage, blending tradition with innovation through his dynamic performances and experimental soundscapes.
With deep roots in Indian Classical music, Parth spent his formative years learning Indian raagas and training on the Sarod, developing a strong foundation in melody, rhythm and improvisation. This grounding continues to influence his approach to composition and performance, even as his focus has shifted towards contemporary music production, arrangement, and keys.
Equally at home in the worlds of music and technology, Parth is known for his ability to seamlessly integrate cutting-edge digital tools with musical expression. He specialises in crafting original compositions and intricate arrangements, often exploring the boundaries of genre through his use of MIDI instruments and layered textures.
Whether composing for live ensembles, producing studio tracks, or performing with fusion and contemporary acts, Parth’s work reflects a thoughtful balance between technical precision and emotional resonance. His performances are marked by rich sonic palettes and a flair for improvisation, captivating audiences with each note.
Driven by a desire to explore and innovate, Parth continues to push the boundaries of musical storytelling, always striving to create experiences that connect, inspire, and evolve.
