The Bonsai Nursery is open on Sundays, 9am until 4pm.
The Bonsai Garden is open to the public each day.
Located outside the Chenrezig Institute Art Studio.
Bonsai is the appearance of a tree miniaturised, representing the appearance of an old tree in nature.
Every Sunday morning, Tenzin will be teaching bonsai workshops. (More information below.) Tenzin is also offering maintenance for people owning their own bonsai trees but not interested in doing their own maintenance. Contact information below if you wish to make an appointment.
Visitors are welcome to come and wander through the Bonsai Garden at any time.
Bonsai Workshops

Come join Tenzin at the Chenrezig Art studio for Bonsai Workshops, each Sunday of the month. Participants will learn about the various methods used in the Art of Bonsai for transforming plants into bonsai and the practices for maintaining them.
Beginners to experienced bonsai enthusiasts are welcome.
About Teacher:
Tenzin is a regular dharma student at CI who started practising bonsai thirty years ago.
Now Tenzin is teaching bonsai classes at the Chenrezig Institute Art Studio. These practical sessions are part tutorial with a component having participants do some work so they learn and understand through experience.
Cost of the Workshop:
$50 - Cost of first class which includes the purchase of a young tree.
$25 - for following classes, students bringing in their own tree to work on.
