About Event:
On December 3 we observe the birth date of our most precious and kind teacher, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and will be offering a recitation of Chanting the Names of Noble Manjushri in the morning at 7:30am and Lama Chopa (Guru Puja) with Tsog in the evening at 6:00pm.
Students of Lama Zopa Rinpoche are encouraged to engage in these practices themselves as a way to honor Rinpoche’s extremely beneficial and inspiring life, and to pray and create merit for the swift return of his unmistaken reincarnation, as advised by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
If you wish to make an offering for the puja, please use the donation box below, and in the comment section write “Lama Zopa Rinpoche” and include your personal dedication if you wish.
If you have a bell and dorje or a mandala set, you are welcome to use them to participate in the puja ritual. Most of the puja is chanted in Tibetan with the traditional tunes.
Held in the Gompa at Chenrezig Institute. Guru Puja will be available both in person and online.
