Easter Retreat: Six Session Guru Yoga with Geshe Tsultrim

  • Chenrezig Institute 33 Johnsons Road Eudlo, QLD, 4554 Australia (map)

About the Event:

The Six-Session Guru Yoga is a core daily practice commitment undertaken by practitioners who have received Highest Yoga Tantra initiation. It provides a profound method for strengthening our connection with the spiritual teacher, integrating the commitments of the tantric path, and nurturing the realisation of guru devotion—the foundation of all progress on the Vajrayana path.

In this teaching, Geshe Tsultrim will guide participants through the Six-Session Guru Yoga text line by line, explaining its meaning, purpose, and how to engage in the practice with clarity and confidence.

Whether you are new to this commitment or wish to deepen your understanding and refresh your daily practice, this is a valuable opportunity to study the text in detail under the guidance of a qualified teacher.

About our Teacher:

Geshe Phuntsok Tsultrim is immensely popular for the warm and approachable way in which he presents the Dharma and inspires our community. He became a monk in Tibet and did extensive study at Sera Je Monastery in India, where he was awarded his Geshe degree (the equivalent of a doctorate in Buddhist studies) in 2005. He began teaching at Chenrezig Institute in 2014 after being chosen for our community by Lama Zopa Rinpoche. He teaches in Tibetan with the help of an interpreter.
Geshe Tsultrim has a warm hearted, caring and practical approach to teaching Dharma. He has been the resident Geshe at Chenrezig Institute since 2014. Since then he has taught Dharma both in the Gompa and by the example he sets outside of the Gompa.
