About Event:
This is a family friendly event where you are invited to relax and enjoy a guided rest with gentle, soft sound bowls and chimes, followed by a mindful storybook reading ('My Breath' by Australian Mum/Teacher) and then a sensory, meditative play with easily malleable air drying clay. This is a sensory seeking experience where you're all invited to play, create and stand in and on the clay.

The aim of this workshop is for everyone to feel calm and relaxed, leaving with an awareness of strategies to assist with finding your own calm and relaxation through breath. Chenrezig provides a beautiful, tranquil, green setting and spaces for this workshop and is the perfect environment if you are seeking some inner peace and quiet.
Please bring your child's favourite pillow and a beach towel to use to rest on for the guided rest (which is for the whole family, so please bring a light covering and small pillow for yourself too). All Art supplies are included, and everyone gets to take home their clay in a soft, clean cloth.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Anna from KidzArt Sunshine Coast has a background in Education, the Arts, and the Yoga world and offers a shared experience for families and their children through storytelling, movement, guided rest and guided Art. Her inspiration comes from magical moments in nature, silence, life’s challenges, kind and compassionate experiences and the beauty of Life.
Anna is a registered teacher with QCT and a Member of Yoga Australia.
Number of participants:
Limited to: 10 children, 10 parents per session.
Cost of the Workshop:
The cost of attendance is $15 for adults and $15 for children aged 4 years and older.
