About Event:

Ven. Thubten will facilitate the golden pen writing of sutras each Sunday afternoon from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm.

In these sessions, one will be led through copying Buddhist texts using modern materials. Texts include mantras, short prayers, Buddhist quotes and teachings. One will also have the opportunity to copy the Heart Sutra in three languages: Tibetan, English and Sanskrit. Come along and join in…

The sessions will usually be in the Tara Room (underneath the main Gompa) except on days when special events occur in the Tara Room. On these days the session will move to the Gompa if it is available.

Any other changes in venue will be noted on the event page for that day.

How to attend:

Just come to the Tara Room at 1.00 pm … there is no need to register and all are welcome.
