About Event:
Herbal Happiness is a gentle, creative workshop where you’ll learn about herbs while enjoying the calming benefits of a mindfulness-based activity. In this session, you’ll create your own herbal lantern using pressed herbs, a glass jar and twine, while learning about the properties of the herbs and experiencing them in a variety of sensory ways. You’ll also enjoy sipping nourishing herbal tea throughout the workshop.
We’ll begin with a short, calming mindfulness exercise to help you slow down and arrive fully in the space. From there, you’ll be guided into the soothing, therapeutic process of creating your herbal lantern — a hands-on, meditative experience that encourages presence, creativity and relaxation. This process is designed to gently draw you away from the noise and worries of everyday life and into the moment.
