Mandala on Record- with Carmen  Lizasoain

  • Chenrezig Institute 33 Johnsons Road Eudlo, QLD, 4554 Australia (map)

About Event:

Discover the calming joy of creativity in this contemporary mandala-making class, where you'll design and draw your own vibrant artwork on a vinyl record—no artistic experience needed!

Unlike traditional Buddhist mandala painting this workshop offers a spontaneous, playful approach embracing self-expression.

Leave your worries behind, explore something new, and take home a beautiful piece that reflects your unique creativity.

In this class you will create your own beautiful colourful mandala on a record, using the guidelines you create with a protractor, compass, and ruler, and filling in with repeat lines and patterns using the beautiful posca pens. You don’t need any artistic talent, as we rest in non judgement and enjoy the process.

We will start with a calming mindfulness exercise and bring that into the creation your mandala. This therapeutic process takes you away from the worries of the world to feeling present in the moment.

All materials are supplied and you will take home a beautiful colourful mandala you have created yourself. It’s a lot easier than you think.
