This month, Soul Foods & Soundscapes welcomes Manoa β California-born, Australian-based roots artist Steve Manoa, joined by his Swedish songstress wife Caroline.
Together, they weave a vibrant tapestry of folk melodies and reggae-inspired grooves, offering music that is both heart-opening and deeply grounding. Their songs carry uplifting messages of nature connection, personal growth, and transformation β an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with the living world.
Having played festivals such as Woodford Folk Festival and supported well-loved roots musicians like Nahko, Satsang, and Murray Kyle, Manoaβs music is more than a performance β itβs an experience that nourishes body, mind, and spirit. With a PhD in Ecopsychology & Environmental Education, Steve integrates ecological wisdom into his workshops and retreats, while Caroline brings the rich tradition of Scandinavian folk music, her voice carrying the warmth and joy of community.
