November Soul Food and Soundscapes with Manoa Music

  • Chenrezig Institute 33 Johnsons Road Eudlo, QLD, 4554 Australia (map)

This month, Soul Foods & Soundscapes welcomes Manoa — California-born, Australian-based roots artist Steve Manoa, joined by his Swedish songstress wife Caroline.

Together, they weave a vibrant tapestry of folk melodies and reggae-inspired grooves, offering music that is both heart-opening and deeply grounding. Their songs carry uplifting messages of nature connection, personal growth, and transformation — an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with the living world.

Having played festivals such as Woodford Folk Festival and supported well-loved roots musicians like Nahko, Satsang, and Murray Kyle, Manoa’s music is more than a performance — it’s an experience that nourishes body, mind, and spirit. With a PhD in Ecopsychology & Environmental Education, Steve integrates ecological wisdom into his workshops and retreats, while Caroline brings the rich tradition of Scandinavian folk music, her voice carrying the warmth and joy of community.

Come immerse yourself in the music amongst the beautiful artworks on display for the Interconnected Art Exhibition .
