About Event:
Join us for two days of sacred Tara Pujas led by the revered Gyumed Monks on Monday and Tuesday, 3–4 August, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm each day.
In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, Tara is the embodiment of enlightened wisdom in action and swift, compassionate activity. Her practice is renowned for helping to remove obstacles, dispel fears, create favourable conditions, and support healing, protection, and spiritual progress. Through making prayers and offerings to Tara, we cultivate compassion, courage, and the causes for success in both our Dharma practice and daily lives.
“Reciting the 21 Taras’ prayer with devotion – remembering Tara singing praises and reciting mantras at any time of the day or night – protects you from fear and dangers, and fulfills all your wishes.”
- Lama Zopa Rinpoche
These pujas will be dedicated to the harmony, success, and continued flourishing of Chenrezig Institute, and to the flourishing of the Dharma for the benefit of all sentient beings.
Everyone is warmly welcome to attend for all or part of the sessions. Your participation helps create the causes for peace, wisdom, compassion, and auspicious conditions to arise within our community and throughout the world.
There will be a lunch break each day, as well as two short breaks between the morning and afternoon sessions.
