About Event:
Discover the profound wisdom of emptiness, the understanding that lies at the heart of the Buddha’s teachings. Through exploring the true nature of reality, we can begin to loosen our attachment to fixed ways of seeing ourselves and the world around us. In doing so, we can transform the way we experience challenges and difficulties, and open the door to greater freedom, compassion, and inner peace.
During this special weekend retreat with Geshe Tsultrim, participants will have the precious opportunity to listen to teachings, reflect, and meditate on emptiness. Through this combination of study, contemplation, and meditation, we can move beyond simply understanding the teachings intellectually and begin to explore how these profound insights can become part of our own experience and daily life.
Emptiness is not a distant or abstract concept, but a profound understanding that can change the way we relate to ourselves, others, and the world. As we deepen our understanding, we can discover greater spaciousness and freedom in the face of our habitual patterns and develop a more compassionate and open-hearted way of being.
This retreat is suitable for everyone interested in deepening their understanding of this profound subject, whether you are new to the teachings or have been studying and practising for some time. Join us for this precious opportunity to connect with the liberating path of wisdom and discover the transformative potential of understanding emptiness.
About our Teacher:
Geshe Phuntsok Tsultrim is immensely popular for the warm and approachable way in which he presents the Dharma and inspires our community. He became a monk in Tibet and did extensive study at Sera Je Monastery in India, where he was awarded his Geshe degree (the equivalent of a doctorate in Buddhist studies) in 2005. He began teaching at Chenrezig Institute in 2014 after being chosen for our community by Lama Zopa Rinpoche. He teaches in Tibetan with the help of an interpreter.
