About Event:
“Happiness and suffering are dependent upon your mind, upon your interpretation. They do not come from outside, from others. All of your happiness and all of your suffering are created by you, by your own mind," says Lama Zopa Rinpoche.
In his book Transforming Problems Into Happiness, Lama Zopa Rinpoche comments on an early twentieth-century Tibetan root text, Instructions on Turning Happiness and Suffering into the Path of Enlightenment, by the renowned Nyingma sage, the third Dodrupchen Rinpoche (1865–1926).
Lama Zopa Rinpoche brings his own special flavor and contemporary relevance to this timeless teaching on Buddhist psychology, showing us how to be happy during difficult times by adopting skillful attitudes—ways of interpreting reality that allow us to live a joyful and relaxed life regardless of circumstances.
This inspiring course, based on Dodrupchen Rinpoche's root text and Lama Zopa Rinpoche's commentary to it will be valuable to everyone, no matter your spiritual background or the kinds of problems that may have led you to ask the ageless question: How can I achieve happiness?
