Lam Rim Discussion Group

  • Tara Room, Chenrezig Institute (map)

About Event:

Join us for a weekly Lam Rim Discussion Group exploring the stages of the path in a practical, reflective, and supportive way.

Together we will read and discuss sections from the Lamrim Chenmo, sharing insights, questions, and ways to integrate the teachings into everyday life. The group offers an opportunity not only to deepen our understanding of the teachings, but also to reflect honestly on our own experience — rejoicing in positive changes and recognising areas that may need further attention and practice.

Sessions will be led by Venerable Shedrup.

Each week we will:
• review how our practice and reflections went during the previous week
• read and discuss the next section together
• explore practical ways to apply the teachings in daily life

Upcoming discussions will include themes such as generosity, compassion, and cultivating positive states of mind.

Pre-reading is encouraged but not essential. All interested are warmly welcome, whether you are new to Lam Rim or have studied the teachings before. Extra copies of the text may be available to share within the group.

The sessions will be interactive and discussion-based, with notes and key points shared visually to support reflection and practice throughout the week.
