Guru Puja Tsog

  • Gompa - Chenrezig Institute 33 Johnsons Road Eudlo, QLD, 4554 Australia (map)

About Event:

Twice a month, based on the lunar calendar, the practice of Tsog Offering or Guru Puja is performed. It is a commitment for those practicing tantra to restore and reaffirm their vows and pledges.

Today's puja will be led by the Gyumed Monks from India, who will chant in Tibetan and guide us through the practice, creating a beautiful and inspiring experience for everyone.

Participants can make donations via our website as offerings to add to the offering made by the centre. The ritual and offerings take just over an hour. If you have a bell and dorje, or mandala set you are able to use them to participate in the ritual, most of the Puja is chanted in Tibetan with the traditional tunes.

Prayers used for the Guru Puja are the FPMT Retreat Prayer Book.

We also recite Swift Return Prayers for Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

Attend in person or online.

The Puja will be held in the Gompa and available to join in person, and online.

There is no need to register — simply come along and join the practice.
