Yoga Retreat for Energy & Calm: Awakening Energy Flow

  • Wellbeing Centre - Chenrezig Institute 33 Johnsons Road Eudlo, QLD, 4554 Australia (map)

About Event:

A one-day yoga retreat exploring yoga postures, breath, meditation, and the body’s subtle energy centres (chakras).

This retreat offers a grounded and practical approach to the relationship between yoga, breath, awareness, and the body’s subtle energy centres (chakras).

The day begins with an extended guided practice: Yoga for the Energy Centres (Chakras)

Through a series of yoga postures and pranayama (breathwork), we will explore the connection between breath, body, and mind—unlocking the flow of vital energy to support a more balanced and harmonious inner state.

This integrated practice moves progressively through the body from the lower energy centres to the higher centres, with simple awareness brought to each area as you move. The morning session also includes AUM chanting and periods of stillness to support inner calm and meditative awareness.

Following a morning tea break, we will explore the energy centres in an accessible and grounded way, focusing on how they relate to our physical, mental, and emotional states.

Learn about the subtle science of chakras and energy flow, and gain a deeper understanding of how they can influence your thoughts, emotions, energy, and overall well-being.

From here, we introduce the timeless teachings of Raja Yoga (the Path of Meditation). These teachings are designed to cultivate inner peace and deepen awareness through self-knowledge and inquiry. There will also be space for reflection, discussion, and questions throughout the day.

After lunch, the retreat continues with a more gentle and inward-focused afternoon session. This includes open discussion, restorative practices, breathwork, deep relaxation, and Yoga Nidra (guided yogic relaxation) to support deep rest, stillness, and inner calm.

Suitable for all levels, this retreat offers a simple and experiential approach where yoga and breath support a quieter mind, deeper awareness, and greater inner balance.

This retreat is suitable for all levels, including beginners to yoga and meditation.
