About Event:
The Four Close Placements of Mindfulness are a foundational Buddhist meditation practice that guides us to cultivate deep awareness of body, feelings, mind, and phenomena.
By bringing mindful attention to these four areas of experience, we learn to relate to ourselves and the world with greater clarity, presence, and understanding. These four areas are used to establish deep awareness of the present moment and to observe the impermanent, unsatisfactory, and selfless nature of experience, leading towards liberation.
Through careful observation and gentle inquiry, we gradually begin to see beyond habitual patterns and conditioned reactions. Instead of becoming lost in thoughts, emotions, or external circumstances, we develop the capacity to remain present, balanced, and aware. This deepening insight naturally cultivates calm, compassion, emotional resilience, and inner stability.
Rooted in the ancient teachings of the Buddha, the Four Close Placements of Mindfulness offer a practical and transformative path for developing wisdom, compassion, and genuine freedom in everyday life. Far more than a meditation technique, this practice becomes a way of living with greater awareness, openness, and connection to ourselves and others.

He began teaching at Chenrezig Institute in 2014 after being chosen for our community by Lama Zopa Rinpoche. He teaches in Tibetan with the help of an interpreter.
